1. Excerpts from Workshops...
- How can you market your service?
- How can you market your products?
Making the product, is not enough; the client has to understand that you have made and launched the product, otherwise client won't get any clue about your products/services thus he won't buy it. So how a client and a product gets connected? A product reaches to client by information. Information is conveyed to him by some sort of communication. Mainly there are two types of communication
- Direct mode
- Indirect mode
Direct mode means coming in contact with the customer directly. For example, When a marketing professional meets the customer directly and conveys about the products, it is 'direct mode' of communication.
Indirect mode means, not contacting the customer directly but through 'indirect means'. There are various indirect methods for communicating with client without a need of personal access. A few of them are:
- Display of posters, Banners, etc
- Publish news or advertisement in Print media eg. newspapers, magazines, flyers etc
- Talkshows via TV
- Broadcasting it via Radio
- Using social network sites through Internet
- Word of mouth publicity through either from users or from experts.
- Reviews from experts or from manufacturers
This is how we familiarize our product to the society. If you observe closely, then you will understand that in both direct and indirect modes of communication, faculty of words are used to spread the message. It's the word power that matters. Successful utilization of the faculty of words to make people aware about it, is what makes the communication powerful. Therefore communication power is an essential tool in professional life.
2. Excerpts from Workshops....
Let us analyze what is a speech? or What you mean by communication and whats happening there?
Firstly it bestows the quality “To know”; knowing about success is equal to success. Every person is gifted with the faculty of knowing. The purpose of education is learning about the things not known now. Lectures provides the opportunity for learning.
An outstanding Speech brings both Speaker and Audience nearer, in the sphere of knowledge. The Speaker communicates with the audience with words and the Audience communicates with the Speaker by the silence of listening. If, any of these modalities fail to communicate with each other, then the purpose of the speech loses its charm. Bunch of issues breaks the thread of communication.
- What are they?
- Why it happened? &
- What are the solutions?
By the end of this seminar, we shall learn the art of communication without any hindrances.
3.There are a few powerful techniques said by our saints of yore which you can learn while you attend our seminars. Here are some additional tips which are very useful............
- Everything lies in preparation. Prepare thoroughly by researching before you meet the client. A food can be eaten in 10 minutes but it will take 1-2 hours to make it. Similarly your talk will last only for a few minutes but you may have spent hours researching on it. Imagine what your client want and prepare accordingly. Try to speak in the language, standards of the client and with convincing examples which can suit him and his business.
- Add vocabulary to your repertoire. Learn those words which are powerful and poetic. Make mastery of that word and re-use that word as per context. Try to learn at least one 'word' a day so 60 to 100 such words will be handy, which you can learn in 2 to 3 months time.
- Make your vital points concrete and powerful - Talk should not be just knowledge transferring, make it interesting by adding most flavors to it. Emphasize on those vital points by illustrating them with analogies, parables, narrations, hardship stories, successful stories, quotes, power point presentations. Illustrations are acting as bridge that is connecting your vital point much more clear to your clients. Always make sure that illustrations you are using should be simple, powerful and related to your point, so its 'not something' that don't have connection with what you say.
